Endermen. Not to be mean but the endermen was a real letdown. So I decided... This mobs name would be the seeker. It spawns on normal+ and heres how it work. It may only spawn in a light level of 0. It can climb walls AND open doors. The thing that makes it unique is that it essentially eats all light. For example if you have 5 torches on a wall it will snuff out there light. Once it has "eaten" the light it will become more powerful. Evrey light source gives it another 1/2 heart of health and damage. Leave a comment if you think its a good or a bad idea!

thers is really no light level of 0 the moon has light soo they dont spawn outside
I think it is a great idea :smile.gif: The only thing is that they would have to be kind of rare, due to the damage they could do. You should ask around if anyone could make a mod for it maybe :smile.gif: Diamonds for you :smile.gif:
i kinda like that idea, but seeker isnt the name i would pick, i would prefere void shifter, or something void related because the void is basically empty and black, and they could want to bring the void to the surface
Endermen can already teleport, so they don't need to be able to open doors and go up ladders, also if they only spawn in 0 light then they would be very rare, and would certainly never run into the player except in rare cases like cave exploring, since the moon does give off light. If you mean they snuff out light like torches indefinitely, I say thats extremely unfair, if they get into your house enemy mobs will spawn like crazy, and placing torches would be like a waste of time. Temporarily might be interesting though. As for them getting stronger I am unsure about, you could just say they regenerate health through consuming light, otherwise may be OP.

that would be a good idea, but they should keep the enderman...its just a little buggy, like sometimes if you look at it, it will just come straight for you, even if you have your cursor on it
I like it, but they shouldint replace endermen and any ways if they did and were 3 blocks tall how would they go threw door ways... unless you had them able to bend down in a way that might be even more creepy.
Not sure I like this idea so much. We really don't need any more hostile mobs, and snuffing out torches to get stronger would be kind of irritating, perhaps it only regains health on Hard mode?
Adding half a heart's damage and health for each torch...what happens when one enters a building with a hundred torches in it? Plus destroying all the light would be extremely annoying for the player that has to put all the torches back...
