It's simple tweaky stuff I came up with. I was kinda inspired by Geartooth's "rare drops" thread :I
All right then, here are the appended drop chances for mobs. They aren't exclusive - so basically, if [x] is 90% and [y] is 10%, they can both drop - it's not "you have a 90% chance of [x], otherwise you get [y]".
Spiders
100% - String
25% (or whatever it is now - I don't know what the statistic is) - Spider Eye
5% - Fermented Spider Eye Idea Note: Perhaps "blind" spiders with non-glowing eyes could spawn - these would always drop Fermented Spider Eyes instead of normal Spider Eyes (as an alternative to "rarer" rare drops of Fermented eyes). Blind spiders would move a bit faster but have worse pathfinding.
5% - Cobweb
Cave Spiders 100% - String 25% (see Spider for additional notes on this) - Spider Eye 10% - Cobweb 1.5% - Potion of Poison (not Splash potion though)
Creepers 100% - Gunpowder
25% - Vines 20% - TNT Block IF CHARGED - 100% TNT Block
0.5% - two pairs of Iron Boots (because creepers have four feet )
Slimes 100% - Slime Balls 7% - Magma Cream (I can only assume this stems from distant Magma Cube ancestors) 1% - Sticky Pistons (Slimes are secret redstone geniuses, you know. Speaking of which...)
Redstone Slimes! Whoa! New mob alert!! Okay, what's a Redstone Slime?
- It's a slime-type mob that hops around underground.
- It's red.
- It spawns at any size and splits as usual.
- It can spawn anywhere below Layer 16.
- It spawns rarely because of all the cool stuff it can drop.
- It drops redstone gizmos when killed.
DROP TABLE
100% (even when not killed by the player) - Redstone Dust
50% - Redstone Torch
20% - Redstone Repeater
15% - Wooden Pressure Plate
12% - Lever
10% - Button
8% - Stone Pressure Plate
7% - Note Block
5% - Piston
3% - Detector Rails
2% - Sticky Piston
1% - Powered Rails
Basically, the Redstone Slime is a little encouragement to redstone engineers everywhere, dropping a random assortment of cool stuff. I'm not making a picture of it because you can probably imagine what a red Slime looks like. Well, I'm done for now. Please leave comments!
I don't like much of it. The redstone slime has too many diffrent drops and the creeper is op. The rest are random and senseless or stupid.
The fermented spider eye is OK I guess.
You honestly think creepers dropping TNT is OP and nothing else is?
Don't talk to me about difficulty lol, all you need to create loads of TNT is 3 blocks of dirt.
3 blocks of dirt, and you have a tower of indestructibility where you can punch creepers endlessly
while taking no damage. A 3 block Gunpowder factory.

Having Creepers being able to drop full TNT blocks would be a major incentive to risk letting them charge (you little troll, you).
Have a
Magma Cubes dipped themselves into the Nether, dat why dey is not Slime..
I just made that theory now.

Lol, no point in being sorry, the post was a joke

Notch look at this!
