The idea is that in create mode. If you make a level you can "publish" it so other people can download it from a in game list. After you set the setting (What mode, name discription), it will have a Adventure Mode where items can not be worn out and blocks can't break (Maybe except a select few like clay blocks). But there are a few steps you need to make before publishing a level:
Go into create mode and push the publish button which gets you into publish mode. In this mode you will place the start block, finish box and checkpoints. (See more about them below)
Click publish again in which puts your level on a list filled with all other levels. People can rate it and it also shows how many people played your level.
But this isn't mapping. Its a suggestion in which i thought it would be cool for people to make their own maps and put it in a In game list. I have no maps or mods to show.

And for the adventure side, I doubt that will be implemented. That sounds amazingly like the adventurecraft mod, so use that.

I didnt say it wasn't it was just a thought.

Also, making a map and posting it to maps works. I did it with my world once (On a previous account that I have completely forgotten)
