So I was thinking about weapons crafted with 1.8-9 items. So here we go.
Idea one: Blaze sword: Crafted like most swords, but material is Blaze rod. Hilt with rod as blade.
+When you block, it reflects arrows/Ghast fireballs back, and on fire. It can catch mobs on fire.
+Faster than other swords.
+When mob is hit, it catches on fire for several seconds. Hurts. When it crits, mob catches on fire longer.
-Slightly weaker than most swords.
-Can break/stronger than gold, weaker than iron.
Idea 2: Elemental Enderpearl: Bucket of something on top of pearl. Lava pearl is red, water pearl is blue.
*When Water Enderpearl is tossed (right click) at an Enderman, It sort of poisons him and dies after a few seconds.
*When Lava Enderpearl is tossed and any mob, it burns them to death.
+Good in tight situations where Endermen are around you.
Last idea: Endersword: Same as Blaze sword, but with Enderpearls as materials. Light black blade with turquiose outline.
+Can teleport to mobs, even far away.
+Crits when mob is looking at you.
-Cannot crit when jumping or sprinting.
-Breaks slightly in water.
-Less damage to Endermen.
-Slightly stronger than gold sword, but still really weak.
Cool but I doubt itll be anything that flashy. I actually think that Notch may use blaze rods as the hilt and obsidian as the metal. Or perhaps netherrack. Netherrack would make sense as the blaze rod would set it on fire which would result in an uber, flaming weapon. I have no idea what Notch has in store for ender pearls, ghast tears, or any of that.
Good ideas! I i think you're nerfing the swords a little. For such a large price they could be more stronger.

I guess your right, with the huge buff with the Endermen and the lack of balls to kill a Blaze. :dry.gif:
