I suspect this is a touchy subject, but I'm really just looking for some information.
Is there currently, or are there plans to create, a more compressed form of redstone circuitry? So, instead of running redstone wire across the landscape in 3D, there's a one-block item (like a workbench) with a grid where electrical logic is implemented.

Thanks.
That sounds like an awsome idea, having a crafting table as a circuity grid thing, I would also think that you could have a couple layers (maybe three?).
I believe there is a mod for that. But I don't think it will actually be put in the game.
Any idea what mod that is? I haven't bothered with circuitry because it seems so clunky (although kudos to all the virtuosos who've made crazy stuff with it), and I think having access to something like this would go a long way towards changing that. Any info that could help me track this kind of thing down would be much appreciated.

"in the event of a root uprising i would support the robots, does that make me a bad person?"
