My friends and i were discussing the possibility of a Redstone Board. Some way to reduce the size of Redstone Circuits. they are sick of having massive thick walls, ceilings, and floors to have redstone machines in their houses. I came up with an idea i like very much. I think it would be nice to have a block called a Redstone Board (name isn't important). it functions as a chest. A 1x1x1 block that you can open by right clicking. Then you can place all the elaborate wiring and circuitry inside it. There could be 8 "Lands" (input / output) that would be the 8 horizontal squares surrounding the block that could be addressed in the board with special blocks (the board has block 1-8 that are referenced to the squares surrounding the board). And for you could stack these items vertically to create layered boards. You would still need the components so it would not reduce the survival difficulty to create a circuit. You would also still need the full understanding of the circuit. The only change is you would use a lot less space to layout your circuit. It is in the board instead of on the floor.
yea, ive seen the mods too. the main problem is that you couldn't properly arrange the aspects of the circuit in the "chest". you'd need to assign new recipes to each type of circuit. while it's a good idea, properly pulling it off is insanely difficult.
And you get 3 when crafted like this:
Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
