Here's the way I picture Anvils/uncrafting benches/repair stations/all this:
People will just make one single thing, repair it all the time, and not do anything else. It really removes the fun of finding more diamond, or iron, or other materials to build things. :sad.gif:

I have posted an idea before, redstone to rubies acutally, it got shot down, but, don't give up, what you need to do is get an idea, write it out on word, read again 4 days later, then see if it still sounds good, if it does, you might want to post it, if not, just let it die. :wink.gif:

Wouldn't repairing tools require you to find those items?
Although OP's idea is kind of meh since iron isn't hard to find.
