I think Notch should not just focus on making all these wierd and fancy things, and start expanding what he already has. Like grain! Why do we only have one type of grain, the wheat? It would be cool if there was some types that grew slowely, but healed / gave you more "hunger points (?)", and other ones who grew very quickly, but didn't heal you that much. Examples could be oat, barley, rye etc. Anyone out there who shares my opinion? :biggrin.gif:
And btw, when will he fix so that reeds have their own plant instead of sugar and books being made from the same plant..?
I agree. More food options would add more variety to the game.
Personally, I'd like to see rice added.
Rice could grow in warm, humid biomes in 1-block deep water, growing to a height of 2 blocks (1 block above water level). It could be eaten alone, or combined with fish for sushi, or chicken for chicken & rice.
