as we all know there are many biomes people want to see but they are just too specifict to dedicate an entire biome to
so why not make sub-biomes that have a low chance of spawning in the already existing biomes
Volcanoes
-10% chance of occurring in the mountains.
-lots of exposed rock.
-lava lakes and flows from the top.
-ash fall for weather.
oasis
-10% chance of occurring in the desert
-small pools of water at center
-palm trees and vegetation
savanna
-15% chance a plains biome will become this
-natural wheat
-golden/yellowish grass color
glacier
-low rate of spawn in mountains, tundra, and taiga
-all water in area is ice breaking ice in glacier will not cause water flow unless melted
-ice also replaces all air up to layer 74 except where a player will spawn
iceberg
-10% chance of occurring in the ocean
-large chunks of ice covered in snow
-pretty self explanatory
wasteland
-1% chance of replacing any biome
-no vegetation naturally
-no water naturally
-gravel sand and stone/ores only
-no animals(spider included) only monsters and a lot of them
-weather none
new weather
Sandstorms
-blur your screen and make it hard to see. Sometimes moves sand blocks and slows the player
ash fall
-basically gray non melting snow that can cause suffocation
-maybe it also could be in the nether
I'd love to see Oases, Savannas (Well, improved savannas, as there already are savanna biomes in Minecraft), Glaciers, and Wastelands (Maybe have pools of oil, dead trees, etc.).
Some other biomes I'd like to see are:
Canyons - Giant valleys of red rock/dirt. Chance of a bridge spanning across the canyon, as well as a chance of a river spawning at the bottom of the canyon.
Beaches - Long sandy areas protruding from tropical coasts with palm trees, seashells, crabs, etc.
Sacred Lands - Some kind of mysterious forest type area with golden trees, bright green grass, lots of waterfalls, plants, etc. Kind of like the Aether on earth. Or maybe this is what the skylands could look like.
