I propose that Notch should add wild horse mods that would be peacfeul and able to be tamed just like dogs but with sugar, and then saddled and ridden. The horse could be the same height as the player, three long, and one wide. When ridden it could give the player greater speed and longer jump distances as well as a higher point for combat. The horse could also lead to cavalry mobs that would be faster than the player. Untamed horses should act like regular cows.
I was gonna say: breaking wild horses is not so simple as feeding them sugar. It's pretty dangerous. Could be a good use for the experience/skill system though, and you could put skill points into horsebreaking to avoid injury and increase your chances of successfully taming a horse.

I think you are going to love my Survival Let's Play series on YouTube! It's called Spaceboot1's Garden. I make pretty things.
but i think it would be cool if in an update he would add horses, fox's, bunnys, dolphins and also maybe a dangerous animal for example tigers , lions and sharks.
If the only thing keeping you from positively rating a suggestion is breaking the rules, don't bother posting.

This idea has been suggested a great deal. I would recommend you go into greater elaboration on the mob, how much health does it have, how exactly fast would it run? How far would it jump? Is there a chance the player will be bucked off? How will it react to damage if the player is on it? If not? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

That should be a good start.
Horses in my opinion shoud have a health of around 6 hearts, their speed should be 2.5 times that of the player, and to tame them a player would first have to put a sadle (made like a boat or minecrat but with leather) and then simply mounted once in order to attempt to ride it, the horse would run around jumping and bucking until the player and saddle would be thrown off. This would happen multiple times with the inclusion of giving it sugar as-well. Anything to make the horse-taming more realistic of course.

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.
Want to play Minecraft SSP like Spaceboot1? Try my modpack, all mods made by me, Spaceboot1!
