How about instead, this gives different outcomes? For example, using wheat will result in pizza instead of bread and clay would give pots instead? :smile.gif:

But seriously, great idea. Bricks are (rather, for me :sad.gif: ) hard to find and/or craft. Clay isn't too common. So yeah, it's pretty well balanced out.

It all matters the biome in 1.8 deserts [near the ocean FTW] have clay also
in the bottum of lakes mixed with dirt and sand there are small clay deposites

Thanks to 1.8 clay is extremely common. And making coal/wood last longer, as well as cook faster is a bit overpowered.
I'd only like it if it was used to make new types of food, like an actual oven instead of a furnace. That would make it unique instead of just making a 'better' furnace.
