i always hate it when im mining or out somewhere and my invintory is full so i was thing maybe a craftible backpack. You could make it like a chest or like a furnace but with leather i dont know how the rest would work but i loved the idea so tell me wat you think.
This would be a good idea, but I don't think you could put a furnace in a backpack. Just saying. But the crating table (3x3 grid) would be helpful but it should cost much leather to do it maybe 72 leather(8 squares 9 leather each) and 1 crafting table in the middle.

Well, your inventory is already kinda like a backpack, so...
I mean, when you think about it, where is he putting all the things you store in his inventory? Your pockets? That doesn't really make sense. Sure, it would be nice, but you could always just bring chests with you to your work site and just transfer stuff.
In short, I probably wouldn't use it.

Or you could toss all the useless cobblestone... Look, the inventory's constrained for a reason.
If there was to be a backpack, I think it'd just be a portable chest. It would require a chest, a diamond, and two units of string. It would replace the chestpiece armor slot, and would make you unable to sprint.
