I've been thinking, in singleplayer survival, it is nearly impossible to stumble upon cracked or mossy brick blocks naturally, since strongholds only currently spawn 3 per world.
An obvious (and probably already suggested) solution would be to make cobblestone and moss stone craftable into their brick counterparts just like smooth stone (2x2 of the blocks on crafting grid).
I've actually heard some people complain about how ugly and pointless mossy and cracked blocks are.
If there was a way to "clean off" the moss or fix the cracks, that would be useful

Actually I find that they can be quite useful, if you're ever building a structure or ruin, like me, they fit in nicely.
