I havent seen this one yet but I have seen one for stronger stone that I didnt think was that great. We definitely need something stronger than stone but not as strong as obsidian, so here is my suggestion.
Sand + Gravel + Water Bucket = Concrete
This could flow like lava, but only a set distance, and would then harden after a few minutes. Players would obviously have to form the place they wanted to place the concrete, pour the concrete, and then remove the forms after the concrete cured. Quite a process, but the extra strength would be worth it for a fortified position.
I think that a bucket of water with soul sand, or gravel above it would suffice.
I also think that it should flow as fast as lava, and turn hard 1.25 times that fast. But have a 4 second head start before it hardens.
I picture it as a sort of grainy block, that looks like a stone slab, vaguely.
Not bad, not bad.
Also, it should be blast resistant and about as strong as brick.
I just finished a texture for what I pictured it as, and I'm working on the scale of it.
Who gives a **** about BTW? This isn't a suggestion for a mod, but for the vanilla game.

Has been suggested a few times, but there are a few mods that do this.
Searching the Already Suggested thread didnt bring it up, so I guess I missed it.
I havent played a mod with anything like this, but I have been more into server side stuff than anything else. I could write for hours on server issues.
something like that already exists. It was part of the "better than wolves" mod. There u could create cement buckets, pour them and turn them into stone.
Just because I said that a mod already has it, doesn't mean that I told him to use it. No need to be assholes.
Not being an a-hole, you're the one that ended it at "doesn't this mod do this?"
I'm only trying to stop people from getting their ideas stomped down because of mods, am I such a bad person?

Saying that something is already part of a mod is a criminal offense which carries the sentence of death.
Or, it's at least not allowed.
I'd like it just so there's a different "smooth stone" block besides regular stone. It would be good for modern structures and citybuilds as well, rather than using the current stone brick, which a lot of texture packs have as a rough/realistic stone.

Shame on you all.
Mods don't have to negate the reason for any addition into the base game.

edit: Wait, don't answer that.
