new materials- steel oil natural gas marble granite shale explosive pockets destructable bedrock lower layer beneath bedrock(radioactive stuff an automatic ticket to the nether) cloud blocks sun blocks (shining blocks of light(not glowstone)light up a larger radius other than 5- 10 block radius of torches and glowstone copper and nickel
biomes- bigger plains overhang land (add this if you want to)---> floating islands volcanoes earthquakes <---(optional or can happen anywhere(splits the blocks into jagged cracks to a designated radius(60-80 block radius)(mountains raising and falling due to earthquakes) coral riefs plains/plateaus valleys
options- change light restriction(in caves in front of you is pitch black as of now you cant see ANYTHING even if you place a torch in the dark area you cant see anything in front of you)<--- run on sentence sorry...(nether and aether just nether or aether or none)no heght limit to blocks mountains or trees new nether block- unknown substance called nether ironium it is indestructable iron can be made into tools and if made into something that uses ironium you can easily punch it and cary it
extras- creeper mode,mod list key (f9)/select multiple mods so you dont overload the jar files) snow mode rain mode buttons on options
natural disasters/effects- waves wind tsunami earthquakes change in cloud directions mist steam dew puddles floods <----(not the mob) landslides waterfall(not too blocky make it look like real water flow/drops more rivers echo of water dropping in caves/mines constant rumble of rushing water floating timber tinted water based on what materials on (if gravel clear) if stone clear (if dirt brown not oceans tho) swaying leaves grass wheat crops flowers(simulating wind)
Well i sure hope you like these things that i would like on 1.9 please leave POSITIVE comments just support so some of this can reach notch or mojang.

Most of the ideas are just words and concepts I guess he expects to see integrated even though the majority of them would take quite some time to work out, if they could be done, which would just lead to even more instances of people begging for early updates then complaining about the bugs.

90% of what you want is already done with mods.
The rest doesn't even make sense. Creeper mode? Was that supposed to be self-explanatory?
