It just popped into my head. A large, black creature with red eyes. Like Endermen, but the shape of the body will be more.... mythic. Like a giant pitch-black Silverfish with bright red eyes. They would be covered in spikes, emitting flame particles, as well as starting to burn when you get close, causing you to be set on fire. They would obviously be immune to fire and lava, though it might have a bug like the Ghasts and Zombie Pigmen glitch. They would have 20 hearts, and do 3 hearts of damage. Sunlight would hurt them, and so would water. They would be 6x6x6(too large?), and spawn in all biomes, but need 15x15x15 space to spawn, making them rare, and only spawn in light level of 6 or lower, so they might spawn at night, I don't know. They could also have "lances" on their front, resulting in you being stabbed if they charge you. These lances would really just be spikes on their necks pointing forward, but obviously longer than their head. They can go a half a second slower than you can sprint, resulting in little to no escape. They set flammable PLAYER PLACED objects on fire if they brush up against them. If you look directly at them for 5 seconds, they will attack you. If you are 3 blocks away from it, it will attack you. If you attack it, it will charge at you. They can spawn in the nether, but as a Hellmare(ideas for a different name would be nice). They melt any ice based objects(snow and ice)that are within 5 blocks in an instant. If they are charging at you, and you hide behind glass panes, it will charge straight at the glass and shatter it, dropping 3 glass blocks each. Not glass BLOCKS, glass PANES. They can break down doors, but usually would not be able to fit. They would drop flint and steel, redstone, coal, smooth stone, cobblestone, iron, and sometimes gold or diamond. Maybe scales, which could be used for chainmail armor. Yes, that would be nice. They will not drop all those items at the same time, it would drop like one coal, two iron, and one flint and steel. Sometimes you would get lucky and get all diamonds.
Well, that's all I got SO FAR :biggrin.gif:
Ideas are VERY welcome!
I need to organize it a bit lol.
Sounds like you put a enderman and a silverfish in one i dont really like this idear.....
Meh. I'm not too creative with mob descriptions, so I said that it would be sorta like an Enderman, and would look a little bit like a giant Silverfish.
why not just a graphic with out a moving body that hovers? makes no noise and deals great damage they spawn at night but instead of dying in day they'd become like wind blocks and remain stationary, invisible, (only appearing as a block frame when targeted, people would think its a glitch) and untouchable until night when they can be harmed, and reappear, they'd also be small, stealth and high damage is the key with these creatures, like creepers but they don't die after attacking you
Look now we got silverfish and cave spiders, do we honestly need more mobs that will murder you in seconds?
Well, they would be very rare, since they need a 15x15x15 flat-ish space to spawn, so they would mostly spawn in taiga and tundra and plain biomes, so yeah.
But yes, they would murder us in seconds. Water surrounding your house and always carrying 5 buckets of water will keep you alive long enough.

But I like it, very creative and well-thought out.

I added the lance part as sort of a pun. Because it's a KNIGHTmare.... and some knights have lances....
Lmao.
It would be like an Enderman because they would emit particles, as well as be completely black and eyes that stick out like a sore thumb. :3
If only I could aim.
I don't think you have ever supported an idea on this forum.

Something more unique sounding maybe.
