Well, as you know, 1.8 brings huge oceans sepearating huge tracts of lands. If you view these lands as continents, then one thing i thought of is there are multiple regions, not labeled by defualt, but each tract of land found across an ocean is a different region. i was thinking maybe 10 different regions in all, and each region has its own unique mobs. now, i dont just mean skeletons in one region, zonbies in another, that sort of thing. i mean that one region contains all the mobs we have now, another contains, say, horses, cats, maybe using mo' animals for extra mobs in each region. and along with different passive mobs, come different aggro mobs. so for example 1 region is the current mobs, another might have horses, cats, rabbits, dragons, snakes, ghosts, and pretty much like that. i also think that it might be fun to add different spawn points, as in not just a single spawn point whenever you die, but every time you spawn its in a new region. i think that this will persuade people to expand out and search around more. the second part was just a secondary idea i had at the last moment, i would be perfectly happy with just the regional mobs thing.
oh, and something else i just thought of. there should be more foods to make. like, as of now the only craftable food is bread and cake, and the rest you just cook. pretty much im thinking there should be more craftable foods. first add spices like rosemary and ginger and that kind of stuff, and you can use spices and stuff to create special foods like pasta with sauce, meatballs, spicy rolls, clam chowder soup, ender cake, and along with more foods, some foods also have a special effect upon what you can do. so for example, lets say a sugar cookie causes you to move faster for a certain amount of time, ender cake (cake with an ender pearl) gives you limited teleportation powers, some food will increase your damage for a limited time, and other stuff such as that. anyways, hope you take these ideas into consideration, i think they would be awesome to be in the game, and would put more adventure into the game. so anyways, yea, thanks for reading this.

I like this idea. Nothing too new but still I like it.
actually, quite new, the only type of regional mobs thingy in minecraft now that could count is squids and land creatures. what im talking about is like how currently theres animals that are all around the world that can be found in multiple different continents. but before those animals were moved around, they only existed in single continents, like horses used to only live in england i think, however now they live in all parts of the world. so pretty much a world like it was before animals were moved around the world. they only exist naturally in regions native to them.

Would like to see some monsters to different biomes, but could bring complications.
And the changing the spawn, each time you die, would be a bad idea. Would conflict with the Bed Spawn after you sleep. some people WANT fixed Spawns.
well, obviously just have your bed override your random spawning. and as i said, i dont just mean different biomes, i mean different landmasses, like in land far across the ocean has a different set of mobs then are in the land you spawn in.
here, i found an image that might help:
you see how there are lands with more animals then others? im talking about if this was a minecraft world, the way that some lands clearly have animals native to them, such as deer to Africa, it would be that landmasses found across the ocean had animals specific to them. pretty much, wherever the ocean biome surrounds defines a different region, and each region is randomly assigned a set of animals native to there.
