So this is isn't something that I would want necessarily, but it was just something random that popped into my head that I thought would be interesting.
What if you could make "armor" out of the rotten flesh. And then you could walk among all the monsters as if you were one of them. Like they wouldn't attack you.
It's a bit silly I know, when I thought of it, it reminded me of The Walking Dead. They covered themselves in the zombie blood and walked out into the hoard unnoticed. d:
sounds like a good idea actually a way to get around the mobs. but i think it would have to have a down side like enderman could still tell your not a mob.
It would be extremely useful.
The only balances to it that would have to be done are:
Mob Spawner Detection: Being within 10 blocks of a spawner lets zombies, spiders and skeletons know your there.
Poorly Crafted: Taking damage of any sort does massive damage to the armor, and for the armor to work, it requires all pieces equipped.
Higher requirements: It should take more then just rotten flesh. It should require a base suit of leather armor, and have rotten flesh, ender pearls, and bones as crafting materials.
Poison possibilities: Such as "wearing the armor while injured can cause poison effects". I mean, your covered in rotting/undead flesh. Having an open wound would be a terribad idea.

I love this.
And yeah, definitely needs to be more than just rotten flesh. I'll be swarmed by mobs before I wear a zombie's face over my own *reminded of fallout 3 ghoul mask*
Perhaps it lowers the likely hood of being attacked, but I wouldn't say completely get rid of it.. It is rather easy to get a hold of rotten flesh... But, I guess I support.

It would be rather nice if you clicked that "+" Over there!

Could the armor deteriorate over time (Perhaps quickly, so you have to make every second count)?
If you're a small map maker, send me a PM and if it's good enough I'll advertise it in my sig.
That would be neat. :happy.gif:

You know you want to.

the endermen still attack you when you look at them
the armour makes your food bar drop faster, rarely you'll be poisened
it will be extremely weak 1-2 hits reveals you
you craft it with string
you must wear at least two peices to stop from being attacked out right (the helmet's a must in these cases)
wolves will be drawn to you from a certain distance (based on how much you wear) and attack you
friendly mobs will run away from a certain distance (based on how much you wear) and will not appear until removed
you can control three undead to defend you like wolves
and (as a positive) you gain twice the normal speed (running, mining, or building)
