Note: A better name for this would be appreciated.
So this would give slimeballs (is that what they're called? dunno.) more use. So basically you'd put slimeballs in a crafting grid in the same arrangement you'd put to make legs, chest head and feet armor.
For every piece of slime armor you were wearing, you would take 25% less damage from falling than you normally would (round it to the nearest half heart). If you're wearing all the armor pieces, you will not take any damage from falling.
However, slimeball armor would not protect you from attacks/lava/anything not related to falling and would still damage the armour, to balance the pros and the cons of it.
Slimeball armor would break after a total of a 75 block fall (all up, falling under 3 blocks would not affect the armor) for each piece. So if you were wearing the full set, you'd be able to fall 300 blocks without it breaking. If you were to somehow fall 76 blocks down when only wearing one piece of armor you'd take half a heart damage for every block after 75 you fell.
EDIT: Due to popular demand (and the point that it's a pretty good idea) For every 10 blocks you fall, you'd bounce 2 blocks back up into the air. You'd also be able to use the boots as spring shoes (you'd have to be wearing boots for the following to work). You can bounce on the spot, ascending 1 block higher each time you jump (no damage will be to taken to the armor). You would only be able to jump a max of 2 blocks high while moving.
You should add another effect as slimes only spawn in certain chunks and are therefore quite hard to get...
That's just it though. You want this armor to be hard to make due to lack of slimes, if I were to change anything it'd probably be the durability (make it 125 block fall max p/p)

Sounds like something that could happen...
