I'm not going to sugar coat with an introduction why I thought of these ideas. I just thought while working on my SSP map that they would add a more interesting dynamic to agriculture.
I am in no way trying to urge Notch to implement these ideas. I am just putting them in this thread for my own organizational purposes. Please don't argue with me about how tough the ideas may be to install, as that is not my point.

[*]Breaking Tall Grass with a Hoe drastically increases the chances of finding seeds.
[*]Harvesting Wheat while using a Hoe signficantly increases the Wheat and Seed yields.
[*]Flowers now distintegrate if you hit them with your fists. A Hoe is required to collect Flowers.

Why: I feel that the Hoe is a very underused tool, except in the very beginning stages of farming. I don't think it should be this way.

Why: The main attribute I am interested in is the first one I listed. I feel that farming shouldn't be about standing on whatever walkway you have that encircles your Wheat cells, but instead should allow for massive fields of wheat that you can walk through freely to harvest.

I would like more crops like corn, tomatoes, peppers, etc... Wheat and melons just aren't cutting it form me, its to boring... Lol anyways i like all your ideas, especially the farmers boots. Its sooo annoying not being able to walk to my further crops and harvest... :tongue.gif:

I always wondered about having a ton of different types of crops. But in reality, we don't really need all of them. Maybe one update should just be a huge agriculture / food update where we do a ton of stuff regarding what we're talking about. But that's just in my dreams :ohmy.gif:
