You have a nice pet creeper outside your house. (It loves you so much it comes back every night.) You decide to fight fire with fire!!
But wait... That will destroy your house to allow your pet's friend skelly inside.
Introducing mob only explosives. They are small (or large) charges that only affect mobs.
Crafting would be tnt with more sand (to reduce the explosive index).
Adding a slimeball to the recipie would create 'sticky bombs' that will stick to your pet creeper until it dies (3 seconds later).
Normal ones would spread their charge over an area, while a stick bomb focuses all it's energy on that one mob.
But seriously though, we've got bows and arrows, cactus, lava, water, swords (of varying levels of usefulness), and water set landmines (though admitted, mine have killed more pigs then creepers). I really don't think we need another explosive based item/weapon. Nice try though.

And mob only explosives, here's your answer...
1) Lighter
2) "BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN! WITH THE LEMONS!"
3) Partially profit
