stop saying "endymayn shud drop this badass shtuff" or "killing endymayn shud make you win and become the god of mincraft" notch is trying to make a mob creepy that you want to avoid, not hunt down like dimond
(edit: and here is a quote saying so:
"So I thought some about what “creepy” actually is, and it’s more about trying to avoid something from happening than it is about actually having that thing happen." -the word of notch)
Though I don't like the idea of endermen, why should only they remove blocks? And why should they run at you when you look away? Now I can't walk around in minecraft just looking all over the place, ugh.
Someone suggested that endermen drop a special item that could be crafted with redstone and iron to create a teleporter :smile.gif: I think that'd be a great idea, my suggestion was the first teleporter pad be made of iron and the second teleporter pad be made of gold
People are allowed to make suggestions, a lot of them are overpowered, not thought out or too complex/silly to implement, those are the ones that get ignored, this is a suggestion forum not a request forum for things to be added.
People are allowed to make silly or bad suggestions (If they searched for it's pre-existence before hand!), the silly and bad suggestions will be ignored.
Making suggestions for content that's not yet released is a good thing though, it could spark new ideas for the developers, lead onto new behaviours for future content, it's probably more handy to make a suggestion about something before it's added than to suggest totally new ideas like a block that flies into the clouds and explodes into 10 creepers and it's more useful to developers if you make the suggestion before it's added as it can go through the natural testing phase, it can be implemented there and then and tested, it can be tried and balanced, and then scrapped if it doesn't work.
I say this as a video game developer, I have all sorts of suggestions for my products or features in them, a lot of them are barmy and defy the point, some of them I explore further and add it to the game, most of them are suggestions to ideas that I haven't implemented yet and THESE are the most useful.
If you really think suggestions shouldn't belong in the suggestions forum then take it up with the forum staff. For now all suggestions be it post or pre content release are allowed and accepted.
I honestly don't see what the problem is, some people don't understand how light the word suggestion means or perhaps you're just ignorant of the development cycle of video game content, if the latter then I apologise, please read above and then you'd be clued in to how this works for game companies.
Let the bad suggestions happen, sometimes good ideas come from them.
""Endymayn" Looks silly." and that is why i wrote endyman, also i think he should drop flint aslo a "not getting killed" achievment. for your first one

I love how all he typed was a sentence and you typed an entire paragraph. :tongue.gif:

I feel it's important to give constructive messages, be it feedback or rant, lets people understand better than "Shut up about annoying suggestions seriously I hate them".
I also reported this thread too, it's not a suggestion it's more of an indirect criticism towards people who don't think through their suggestions and is better fitted to individual threads over their context.
I'll stop posting in the thread now.
