This isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice...
Have you ever been trying to break a block and accidentally moved to the next block right when it was about to break? What if there was a 2 second delay before the block returned to it's untouched state and held it's 'time remaining before being broken'? (I dunno how to word that, sorry.)
Example: You're mining a redstone ore. You're about to break it, but you accidentally slide over a bit and the block resets. But if the 2 second delay was added, you could go back to it and finish mining it where you left off instead of having to start over.
This would be GREAT with obsidian.

It's kinda unnecessary i mean maybe you could make a mod for it?
But i agree it would be useful for obsidian, but only really obsidian all other blocks are actually take a short time to mine.

Nice idea though but what if it was something like a torch or redstone??
