Hello again,
So i have come up with this idea for steel. the theory is you take iron and mix it with carbon. Carbon would be made by a 2x2 box of coal in a workbench because carbon is made by coal. Anyway... Steel would have the durability in tools between iron and diamond (closer to iron) and maybe later in the game if this did end up getting added (i'm not expecting that) they could make more things with it like steel arrows. So yah, i'll see you guys later.

It seems a bit too easy to make, but other than that, an alright idea, I suppose.
It's good idea, could plug the gap between iron and diamond (and is easy to make). But I would remove the step for making coal into carbon, as although this is realistic, it's a bit unnecessary. Also, steel shouldn't occur naturally (apart from dungeon chests maybe) as it is manmade, so no ores.
Yes I know this is why I didn't do it as a ore.
