The basic thing i'm asking is something like around forest there will be piles of leaves which will be a tile like snow.
And also random twig tiles will be scattered around.
So imagine just walking in the forest and you see a creeper.
You slowly step back and you step on a twig and make a stick snapping sound!
The creeper turns around and chases!
The sticks will cause enemies to know of your presence if you step on a stick tile but not a leaf one. Example:When you step on a stick tile all enemies in that chunk will know of your presence and go to that spot. Example 2:You walk through the forest and step on leaf tiles but the mobs wouldn't know of your presence in the chunk.
This could add some more life to the game too and make a forest more like a forest!
Oh and you can place a stick on the ground to make a twig tile too.
Also the only thing that would trigger the sound would be zombies humans cows and pigs.
Also leaf tiles would be more common then stick tiles.
Not bad but mod already notice you from pretty far away. Are you saying that when you step on a twig the mobs can notice you from farther away? Also maybe it will send peaceful animals running. I like it.
I like the idea of the leaf blocks, as it would add a good aesthetic. The idea for twigs would add a lot to it, as well as a purpose for the leaves. I would add two things that weren't suggested earlier- leaf blocks should only be triggered by humanoids (everything else would be too light or step ovet it), and mobs should have a reduced vieving range 180 degrees behind them.
Really?
Because i think everything in MC ways as much as you :tongue.gif:

I think that notch said creepers were made of twigs leaves and explosives, and skeletons are just bones, spiders are just spiders so they don't weigh that much, and enderman..... Who knows. Pretty much the only hostile mob that would weigh anything would be a zombie.

Exactly they will see you from further away!
And the idea about the animals fleeing was pretty nice.
Steve:A pig!
*Steve steps closer and steps on a twig.*
*Pig runs away.*
Steve:Not again...
