Hostile Mobs WILL spawn at Dusk (exept for Zombies and Skeletons).
Only 2 of the same species of a Passive Mob will spawn (ex. You was on Peaceful, and you had 5 pigs. You set on Darer, and they disappear, only 2 pigs will remain.
Spider Jockeys have more possibility to spawn.
Thunderstorms are common.
Loads of Endermans will spawn.
Fuels for furnaces will die quicker.
Food never appears (e.g: You killed Pigs, and they will never drop pork)
Only haves half heart.
No Torches(although you can place them, they will be put out and cannot be lightened up, even with :Flint and Steel: ). Redstone Torch can be maked freely, but can only be placed next to a redstone wire.
If you die, your map is lost.
Days last 7 minutes, Night lasts 15.
Flowing Lava is more common.
The maps you will most likely spawn on are:
- Desert
- Savanna
- Plains
- Tundra
This can be avoided by creating a new map at any other difficulty such as Peaceful, and then set to Darer.
Skeletons are more common, Wolves are less common
Diamond is only found near the Bedrock
Dungeon Chest's haves nothing but a Saddle
Creepers walk faster
Rotten Flesh will be the only food allowed to get. Eating it will cause your character to run faster for 15 seconds, and after that, explode.
EDIT: Forget the "perma-death" and the Rotten Flesh.
I dislike this idea on the grounds that this would not be fun at all.

Why? It adds new challenge to the game, specially for those who argue saying that mobs are very easy to defeat. Strangely, I doesn't likes this idea very much too, but i would like if it was implemented.
Heh, well i'm too lazy to play that hardcore in minecraft.. i just enjoy it for the building, tho i dont mind meeting the occasional mobs to dispense of with relative easy, 'cuz they just give a nice little scare sometimes rly :biggrin.gif:
Anyway, i've taken the liberty to highlight two of your ideas that don't really work that well together :tongue.gif:
I mean, if you're gonna explode, then die, then lose the map, why would you eat that pork? why have it available at all? :blink.gif:
How about minecraft RL extreme sports? just forming a perfect 1x1m square of dirt should be a real challenge.. carrying more than 1000 of them would be a feat of strength unlike any ever seen before :laugh.gif:
Yeah, i don't think it's a good idea too...however it would make unaware people think they can heal theirselves and end in a trap...maybe that's the reason

So in other words you want this for players to accidentally kill themselves once, and then either never playing the mode again or just never doing that again?

No, it doesn't add challenge. Challenge is forcing people to figure something difficult out. IN this game mode, if you fall off of a three block high ledge, you permanently lose your world. This mode is tantamount to suicide, and simply makes you lose everything you own on a regular basis.

This is a mix of "Hardcore" and "Daredevil". Hardcore makes you lose your map permanently if you die. Daredevil keeps you with the smallest health possible. But, okay, let's just abandon the "perma-death" thing

It's time for the ALTOID difficulty! You will always spawn inside of a 20x20 cube made of bedrock. Every 5 seconds a creeper spawns for every creeper already alive, meaning that if you had 2 creepers you would then have 4...
Have fun!

This will make no sense at all. In fact, the game will be impossible as you will suffocate to death.
Or you would get asploded by all the creepers with no place to run and only your fists to defend yourself... My joke difficulty wasn't much more extreme than yours other than the fact that you can't run away in mine.
