A very small topic in the New update is food. There is now Chicken and Beef.In the near future,if Notch thinks of this, you can contract diseases from uncooked food and can only cure them with special herbs or a mixture of herbs. For an example, tapeworms.Maybe you eat raw beef and every 3-7 uncooked piece of food you eat you can contract a tapeworm. This will make your character very nauseous maybe making him vomit or slowly lose health and when you eat you dont gain the full amount of hunger points.Your character may pass out from time to time in the middle of nowhere and while you past out you get killed by a creeper, zombie,or other mob. Then there are diseases that you get from mobs.Take the silverfish swarms for example.Every2-10 times you are bitten, you are likely to contract dinghy fever or some sort of malaria. You become somewhat immobile or you become very dillusional seeing creepers that really arent there. Then Enviorment diseases such as Hypothermia when it snows or pneumonia if you stay in the rain to long.Ever 5 to 8 minutes you stand in the rain or snow, you could contract these diseases.Your screen would shiver uncontrollably and when it stopped you would lose hearts.Of course you could turn this off or on in the options section of your pause menu. Thanks for reading the 4th "A Brief Overview".

You're using real life diseases, in a fantasy world, and creating a system that would drive players crazy in frustration, not make it fun, so no. This won't work.

Good Point.I think if you want this kind of realism, then you have an option.
Ex:
Diseases:On or Off
Yes, fantastic, let's punish newbies who haven't a clue what they're doing by giving them ailments that they don't know how to cure. Fantastic. Brilliant idea.

do you know how to get to the Netherlands other than a portal
Although some of these ideas are a bit much, some of it could be implemented. I think that if diseases were implemented, chances would need to be significantly lower. Instead of specific diseases, there should just be a diseased state. Raw meat will slowly drain your health say... 0.1 % of the time that you consume it. Very rare, so that new players won't be too discouraged and because disease states shouldn't be a main point of the game.
But little surprises like that WOULD be fun.

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eye.
Nice thing, but on Vanilla Minecraft it should automatically be set to "Off", because it might catch you unaware of that. Also, the only thing i discord is of the Snow. I like snow to much, and i dont want to get hyphotermia. However i would like to get the others. Also, the main food that can cause it should be the Zombies' Rotten Flesh.
