I know Iron chains have been suggested before, so I thought maybe, two chains and an Iron block could make a flail. The flail would follow mouse movement, allowing you to swing it around with the mouse. The flail's damage is affected a bit by it's speed.
yeah, get rid of the shockwave, and its good, also, armour should only minorly help you stand against this, a flail is a kenetic weapon, the force of the impact travels through the armour and into your chest, realistic, but would that make them OP?
All right, dumb question. What is the point in crafting it? It's OP, and technically, it sounds too relevant to the Terraria Flails. If anything, I think some disadvantages could be...
-Minus armour protection
-Once you slam it into a block, you have to wait to get it out
-If you miss, th eball flings back and hits you
-The flail can cause you to get minor injuries, leaving you unable to use it or other weapons
-Upon contact, the player's corpse (if it kills) gets stuck to the flail
Make on topic comments only please.
Good point. Of course, non greifers can have flails to, and in the end they would just try to find some other way to **** us off.
I'm a little confused with your comment. It doesn't actualy change any part of the environment, it can only stun and do damage.
I figured it out! As an anti-greifing measure it can't stun players.

But honestly, it seems a bit OP.
