The ability to install offline by creating a one time download link when the user requests it. Then they run the installer which justs extracts all the files to the normal spot in the temp folder.
I do not exactly know what you mean, but I am guessing you are suggesting that when you install minecraft it already comes with all the files, The installer doesn't come with the actual files so:
1. It can update easier
2. Pirates have a harder time pirating
3. The file size is smaller
I think.
You would not be able to update if you are offline, and if you have an internet connection I do not see why you need to download all the files when you can just run it to install the files.
I thing is it is on the second floor of my house and my house is 33 years old therfore there arent any ethernet plugs in my house. So we put a cable jack on the wall next to our router and it runs to the modem then to the router then to the family computer. The computer is from 2005 so it is big and bulky (and t needs more RAM cause MC runs like crap on it) and it hard to keep moving it everytime there`s an update so id rather them do it that way.

I think i see what your talking about. If you want it that way, i can show you how to do it.
1,Force update.
2,Go to run/search bar on windows
3,type "%appdata%"
4,You will see ".minecraft"
5,Drag it into your USB
---Now you got it into your USB with fully updated client. Time to port it into your other computer---
[I suggest you to backup your other ".minecraft" folder too.]<--if you do do every from step 1to5.
6,get on your other computer.
7,put your USB back in.
8,On your computer,Go to run/search bar on windows.
9,search "%appdata%"
10,delete click .minecraft
11,click on resource
12,replace minecraft.jar with the new one.OR delete the whole ".minecraft" folder and replace it with the new one.But your saves will be lost!
Hope this isn't confusing at all!

Your logic, it is flawed. We can't get updates that don't exist on our minecraft yet if they aren't installed, so this idea is impossible.
