You're making an adventure map, and you want to add a character and make him say and do stuff. Or you want to make a building, but it is huge and it would take too much time. Or you want to use mob spawners, but it's too hard to do so. This is why I propose...
Map Maker Mode
This new mode will make Adventure Map Makers lives easier. It will add a new button to the main menu and open up a ton of new features.
New Menu Button: A new button on the main menu saying Map Maker. This will lead to a regular "Title your World" and have the option to put in a seed. Also, you can select levels you previously worked on, or import a level from survival mode. Now as you select your world, this mode will look the same as survival except for a few differences.
Unlimited Items: The item bar at the bottom has doesn't have a heath bar, and is empty at first. But when you open your inventory, it makes an item menu a la Too Many Items. You can drag and drop any of the available items in-game, (and some that aren't) into your inventory in unlimited stacks.
Block Properties: In Creator Mode, all the blocks will be destroyable in one hit.
Noclip Support: Building too high? Cave too low? Just press the button you selected and, BLAM, you are flying like an eagle, piloting a blimp.
Bigger Signs/Notes: This allows the player to full screen into a huge wooden sign full of text, or a multiple page paper note. This gets rid of those ugly signs. (These could be available in Survival Mode, but we're not talking about that.)
Easier Mob Spawners: This new button (That has a creeper face on it) next the the item bar. This allows you to place a spawner, and allows you to select any kind of mob. Creepers too! Also you have the option to make it invisible and see through, to get rid of that ugly cage.
Spawn Point Changer: Another new button next to the item bar, this one with Steve's face on it, allows you to change the spawn point of the player, in case you do not like the original.
NPC Creator: This button (That has a full bodied Steve on it) allows to put down an NPC character. He stands still at fist but you can program him to to whatever you want. If you select him, you can import your own skin for he/she, and make a name for he/she that appears on top of it, like survival multi-player. Next, you can make it automatically say text into the chat bar if the player is near, allowing for easy reading. Also, you can make it copy any of the movements you do, so it opens a world of possibility's. New partners for your adventurers!
Test Mode: And when your finished with your Magnum opus, you can press this button and you may test it like a regular level. Destroy all you want, because when your finished, it is reverted back to the original when you switch back to creator mode.

This is actually a really good way of making adventure maps. A+ mate.
