i read on the wiki that dragons and wierd black things worse than creepers are being added in 1.8 so i thought if lv exp hunger LoZ like monsters towns temples and etc are all there then why not skills I mean like even twilight princess has special skills with swords at least
so heres some things i thought of that a lot of other people might have suggested way before i did
1. spells that can be equiped in spell slots simmilar to the tools you can cast equiped with the number pad consumes mana (eg. flame field: lights all mobs in a 5m radius on fire uses 3 mana)
2.skills you can learn by completeing certain conditions like kill 20 spiders or something that dosen't need to be equiped and are stored in a skills menu they can be used by pressing certain keys consumes SkillPoints (eg. jump attack: requires sword [dash>jump>attack] uses 1 SP)
3.spells that are learned and ones that are bought bought spell runes are one time use but dosen't cost mana learned spell are the type in 1.
4.elements (eg. fire type attacks will set off creepers and do more dammage to zombies and skeletons but won't affect fire types like fire dragons and ghasts)
5.passive skills that are auto activated when certain conditions are met(eg.tough: you will receve no knockback from arrows)
6.buffs that consume mana as long as it is activated (eg. fly: consumes 2 mana per sec)
7.mega spells that are activated if you cast a certain spell while inside a certain structure(eg. angel of life: cast heal inside a shrine of life to heal all players in a 10m radius) if you are confuse by this which you most likely are not just think of this as another version of the herobrine summon and the portal
8.BattlePoints that allows you to use a mega skill if it is at ten you earn battle points by killing monsters getting hurt blocking attacks etc (eg. dragon summon summons a dragon made of pure awsomeness to help you the dragon has 28 HP and dies if you die it lasts for 20 min)
more ideas are wellcome
i don't go on twiter so if any of you has any info please tell me about it
1. Dragons are not confirmed for 1.8. Mojang mentioned the idea a while back (last November or so), but has not commented on the status of adding dragons ever since.
2. "LOZ-like monsters". Such as...? Unless you're stupid enough to actually think that skeletons and giant spiders are something unique to Legend of Zelda, then I have no idea what you're trying to talk about here.
3. FOR GOD'S SAKE TRY TO USE SOME PROPER GRAMMAR DAMMIT.
4. I realize where you're coming from here, but the fact is that spells just aren't something that would work with Minecraft unless as a mod. It works in games like Terraria (I hate to even bring it up, because people compare the two so much) because it is balanced and the game focuses on adventuring more than building; Twilight Princess doesn't really have spells, but as you said there are the special skills: again, that is a way for players to collect something (because you do have to do some hunting to find all the skills) and works to truly improve the player without being overpowered. In Minecraft, spells just don't have a place, not because they're a stupid idea but because it just wouldn't fit with Minecraft as it is currently. Hostile mobs would suddenly become REALLY easy to kill (heck, they already are easy to kill).
thing because i thought about
this a lot and i think
it will work

So, sorry, but I reject this idea wholeheartedly.
