I think when we power up netherrack, it should automatically ignite. It kind of makes sense, and it would be useful for conceptual buildings. Example: I want to build an melee practice area, and I want to be able to surround it in fire once a certain number of mobs are in. This would allow a correct circuit to ignite the circle with a flip of a switch. This could also be used for traps and defense.
Yes, this could be used for more things than you think... Finally my fortress shall have a lava moat, a water moat and a fire moat! Mwahahahaha! I mean uh....nevermind
that would be hell if you were trying to wire something in the nether.
maybe making netherrack into a block that does this (think this has been suggested before).
something like: :Flint and Steel:
with =netherrack
and =redstone

That's a good point, and an even better suggestion for my idea. For any who thought it was already suggested, I looked it up first to make sure it wasn't. Ik there are things to be downloaded that can add it in, but this is a post for the vanilla game, and I think it'd be awesome if it were in it. Also, thank you for all who support the idea!
