I think It's a little ridiculous how hard it is to create a minecraft server. I've made server's on other things like terraria and it only took 3 clicks. I'd like it for notch to have it that way. Notch if you do read this in any way shape or form then I would like you to implement this. Probobly in an update or when the game is finished. I would appreciate it very much.

Step 1: Download server.jar.
Step 2: Run server.jar.

There used to be a picture of my main characters here. It's out of date and I can't be bothered to update it. Truly a shame.

do you put server.jar in the bin and what do you mean bye run server.jar??? just asking
I mean you go to http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp, download the server.jar (or .exe) file, put it in a folder (doesn't have to be the bin folder), and run it.
Then, you can go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ to find your IP and connect to it. (You can use 127.0.0.1, but other people will have to connect to your IP unless you use a DNS to give your IP a name [you can get a free DNS at www.dyn.com])
