Zombie Siege[ Objective
Protect the diamond block in any way possible by killing/blocking/doing anything to the mobs.
Spawn area
Players spawn above an indestructible diamond block. Floor level will be bedrock.
Warning! !Stepping outside when night-time will damage ½ a heart every 5 seconds!
Inventory
For every player joined in the server (server that has this map
has a max of 4) there will be a chest that contains:-
•9 raw porkchops
•64 glass
•5 coal(item)
•A workbench
•32 gravel or sand
•10 wood(not planks)
Waves Easy difficulty
Zombies will deal 1 heart of damage to players and 2 damage to blocks every second.
Spiders will deal ½ heart of damage to players but cannot destroy blocks (it will climb).
Skeletons will deal ½ a heart of damage per arrow and will deal 2 damage to block per second IF:-
1. It is not targeting or hasn't seen a player.
2. The block is directly in-front of it.
3. It has a target but blocks are blocking it.
If these rules apply, then it will start to destroy blocks.
Creepers will deal 8 hearts of damage to a player at point-blank range and will deal 5 damage to blocks around it. Radius: 4 blocks (including the block it’s standing on)
Normal difficulty
Zombies deal 2.5 damage to players and 3 damage to blocks per second.
Spiders deal 1 heart of damage to players per second.
Skeletons are the same as easy but will deal 2 hearts damage to players and 2.5 damage to blocks per second.
Creepers will deal 10 hearts of damage to players (survivable if wearing armour) at point-blank range and 7 damage to blocks. Radius: 5 blocks (including the block it’s standing on)
Hard difficulty
Zombies will deal 4.5 hearts of damage to players and 4 damage to blocks per second.
Spiders will deal 1.5 hearts of damage to players per second
Skeletons are the same as easy/normal but will deal 3 hearts of damage to players and 3 damage to blocks per second.
Creepers will deal 12 hearts of damage (survivable if wearing armour) point-blank range to players and will deal 9 damage to blocks. Radius: 6 block (including the block it’s standing on)
Boss waves
Creepers will be the “boss” of the game-mode. Since their awesome destructive power of KABOOM-ing, they will only arrive with other mobs in rounds of 10.
For explaining purposes, it would be like:-
Round 10 = 1 creeper (for normal it would be +1 (2)) (for hard it would be +2 (3))
Round 20 = 2 creepers (for normal it would be +1 (3)) (for hard it would be +2 (4))
Round 30 = 3 creeper (for normal it would be +1 (4)) (for hard it would be +2 (5))
etc,
etc...
Weather
Day (technically not weather but... meh)
Safest part of the whole game. You are allowed to walk out of the spawn area, and to make things better, a random chest will appear for the players to find. Unfortunately, only appears after every 10 waves (right after a creeper wave ).
Night (also not a weather but... who cares?)
Most of your life will be in the dark (light level of 7). This, when accompanied by fog, will make you uninstall the game and play something more calming.
Fog
This is like the effects of Render Distance:Normal. It will not change in shape or distance when players go near and will hide spawning mobs. Imagine endless creepers and zombies emerging from the fog. Nightmare fuel!
Rain
For rain, it will appear where an odd amount of creeper/s spawn, e.g Round 10, 30, 50, etc... Will also solidify lava (into cobblestone) and put out fires.
Thunderstorms
Thunderstorms appear where even amount of creepers spawn, e.g Round 20, 40, 60, etc...
Snow
Snow doesn’t appear at all. Yep, that’s it.
Revival
Food can (but have to be implemented) ‘revive’ players. By holding any edibles, holding right-click will show a bar (furnace). Once it is full, the revived player will have the same heal as the food if eaten instead.
E.g:-
1 raw porkchop will revive a downed player with 1 ½ hearts
1 golden apple will revive the downed player with a full 10 hearts.
Unfortunately, Cakes cannot be a revival tool. :angry.gif: Everything else can be, though.
Wave list:
1. Medium slimes
2. Big slimes
3. Spiders and medium slimes
4. Spiders, medium slimes and zombies
5. Big slimes and medium slimes
6. Zombies and skeletons
7. Spider swarm!!!
8. Zombie swarm!!!
9. Spider swarm and some skeletons
10. Spider jockeys!!!
11. CREEPER, zombies and medium slimes
12. Zombie swarm and spider swarm
13. Spider jockeys and zombies
14. Big slime swarm
15. Zombie pigmen (for nice, delicious cooked porkchops)
16. All sizes of slimes and zombies
17. Spider jockey swarm
18. Zombie, skeletons and slime swarm
19. ALL MOBS ZERG RUSH SWARM!!! (except creepers)
20. CREEPERS with zombies and skeletons
After this wave, it will be COMPLETELY random. It will not spawn creepers between every 10 waves, however.
Yeah well, I had different Ideas. Did you read the whole post or did you TL;DR? :dry.gif: Anyway, yours (no offence) doesn't have any other mobs and didn't really "flesh" out the game mode that is Zombie Siege but, don't get me wrong, your idea fits the title of Zombie Siege. I guess I mixed up the title and made it into Mob Siege or something. :wink.gif:
no offense but use minecraft wiki before coming up with an idea
:huh.gif: What. The Minecraft Wiki deleted the article of it, and even then, this is my idea of Zombie Siege. It has a few differences to the Minecraft Wiki one. Not everything in Minecraft Wiki is correct or will be implemented. It is merely a reference, like Wikipedia.
