Slimes, you can hate them, you can love them. They come down in caves near bedrock. They say:
Quote from Slimes »
OMG OMG. ISA HUMAN, LETS GO KILL IT.
It's been proven as they are sentient.
Sapience is different then sentience. In Latin sapience means. Oh forget it. Sentient-the capacity for basic consciousness — the ability to feel or perceive, not necessarily including the faculty of self-awareness.
Sapient-the ability of an organism or entity to act with judgement or intelligence.
They often get confused for their Latin roots.
A little off-topic, and I may be wrong. Don't me because mistakes are human.
Anyways, I can hardly kill them because they're so cute.
Slimes should be able to spawn either hostile or passive. Maybe a little difference in them so you know which will attack you. They will do what they want, and not hurt you, but you could hurt them. They would still appear in Peaceful Mode, but couldn't get large enough to accidentally suffocate you.
They could also spawn on land, in slime pools. The slime pools would be hard to swim in, and you could drown in them more quickly than in water. Slimes could leave the Slime Pools whenever they wanted to, and the pools would spawn slimes quite frequently, with smaller ones being the most spawned.
Not much you can write about passive mobs. They spawn, walk around, then despawn. Any questions, more/better ideas, or a snazzy saying are appreciated!
