Hey guys,
in Germany its 1:02 and I got a great idea. How about, redesigning the Minecraft GUI and adding some cool, and needed features?
So here are my concepts for new this, and I know "just 1 suggestion in 1 topic", but create 2 topics for this is nonsense. New Loadingscreen
I think the loadingscreen is a bit boring, and could be used for so many things.
Here my concept: Loadingscreenconcept
You see in the top left hand corner, how many friends of yours are online (concept below) and how many new messages you got.
In the right hand corner, you see the loading informations. The worldname, the difficulty (peaceful, easy, normal, hard) (can be saved for each world). And when you played this world the last time.
In the middle of the screen you see a "Black Ops"-like Thing. A screenshot which shows a randomly scene of the world, you are loading. The textures fits to the texturepack you're currently using. A progressbar (simple, but cool) and a pro-tip, which is changing every time you load a world.
In the bottom, you see the name of the texturepack, which you're using, and youre actived mods. (Modding API ftw).
And of course, a cancel-buttom. To return to the menu.
A friendlist
You cand find my concept here: Friendlistconcept
first: I got a bit inspired by the Steam-friendlist :wink.gif:
So, at the top you can see your avatar (all avatars are automaticly created, they are the front-face-image of your skin) and your nickname (you can set a nickname, which will be displayed in quotes in the friendlist and (if enabled on the server) it will be shown in the chat (in quotes of course, that you cant fake users)). below, your original accountname.
In the friendlist there are 3 types of statuses.
* Away (Automaticly set if your mouse has not moved for 5 minutes) or set manually.
* Busy (Automaticly set if a game runs in fullscreen) or set manually
* Online (If your playing on a server)
You can click on the green servername, to directly join into this server.
With double clicking a name, you start a conversation, like personal chat.
These are my two suggestions to improve the game.
What do you think about this? Would you like to have this in the game, or not? And why?
-Sorry for my bad english in this post :wink.gif: Greetings from Germany.
...But I have an edgy feeling about the loading screen. That design has been used by lots of game companys (Apart from the 2 friends online, last played and stuff) example : CoD.
So? It's used a lot because it's effective and it works.

Flo,
OMG Yes!
...but the loading screen text looks a bit small. Apart from that, pretty cool.
So? It's used a lot because it's effective and it works.
