That is a cropped screenshot of an old Win2000? game called Ski32 where you ski down a never-ending slope avoiding trees and hitting jumps. Eventually a yeti-like thing races across the screen, picks you up and eats you in about 3 seconds flat.
To be honest, this can't directly relate to Minecraft since we don't have slopes - never mind endless slopes - to ski on, or even skis themselves for that matter.
So I would think that it's just a Yeti that eats you in one go and runs really fast but is only one in the world at a time, possibly in an oversized Taiga or Tundra biome. Killing it would drop bones, meat and snowballs.

Pretty close. Except for the fact that you never kill a yeti. XD
Haha this would be soooo awesome :tongue.gif: I remember playing this in school on nearly all breaks when I was like 8-9 x)
And if I remember correctly you can outrun the yeti by going diagonally away from him if you react fast enough when he spawns and eventually he will dissapear untill a new one spawns.
