Right, there are other topics about colored glass and colored light, but I'm asking Notch to implement colored glass and when light is shone upon a colored glass block, the light on the other side of the block is the same color as the glass. Of course, this requires a huge range of colors for the levels of brightness and ways to compensate for light blending, but this will make Minecraft even greater. Simple as that. Thanks Notch!

You set yourself up for failure right at the beginning. If it has been suggested before, don't suggest it again. Either support one of the other threads or come up with a unique take on it and make a thread about that.
