I really noticed a problem with the physics in minecraft when I chopped down a tree... And the leaves floated. I suggest that Notch/modders change the physics of Minecraft, so that EVERY block falls, unless it is attached to an anchored block. An anchored block would be a block that is directly or indirectly connected to bedrock. This would NOT mess up caves, or houses, but it would help with more realistic biomes, as in getting rid of the floating chunks of land. Also add a LOT of fun to the game.
I think that this eliminates the point of Minecraft. The physics that are messed up make it fun. I like building floating houses and harvesting materials of floating islands. I like the unrealism of Minecraft and without gravity affecting blocks, it makes it more unrealistic.

Boj

On topic, this would cause a great deal of lag, even more bugs, would destroy pre-existing buildings, **** people off, etc. just to have something that has more net negatives than positives.

and anyway such a terrible idea, it should be more like; when you chop down a tree it all destorys it self
No, they wouldn't. And yes I realised this would be terrible: Aether would be screwed, and a lot of architectural designs would no longer work
