Now-
Mobs are pretty lonely, You can find several mobs\animals or just few or even one.
The idea-
In the wild nature(In real), There is animals that divided into groups,
Called animal packs, Each animal pack have females, males, weaker and stronger and of course the leader.
SO what is the idea about?
Each mob may spawn in groups like animal packs,
The pack will have a leader(The biggest and strongest) and others,
They will move togther and stay togther all the time,
If you attack one of them, All the group will attack you,
If one decids to attack you, All of them will attack you,
Animals could also spawn in groups, They will run away from you as group or attack you as group(lets say cows).
How will it affect minecraft?
It will be a good addition to the survivor aspect,
In Real animals act like that, So why wont we have that in minecraft?
Each mob acts alone and play by him self,
so it will be nice if mobs have the ability to group into one pack.

If you talk about AI it should be more realistic :|
I get bored to see animals just walking around and do nothing,
This at least give them something to do.

Java is an OOP Programing language,
You make Basic AI class or interface,
inherite them to specific mob class,
Or (idk if java supports generic code)
You can make AI<MOB> class.
Belive me, The code isnt the problem,
The problem is the will.
As for mob packs, I only approve it for a zombie hive mind and wolves.

Hypothetical: You read a thread in the Suggestions forum. You suddenly realize you've seen the idea before. Maybe it's a duplicate? No. Maybe it's just you? No. Maybe it's been done already? Very likely: Click here if there's a mod for that.

Image for illustration:
You try to make a game with 16 bit default textures on cubes that spawn green exploding things and evil skeletons and zombies.
I think he shouldn't add a new animal AI. He'd have to rewrite it and make it bigger... oh that would take way too long.

Read the rules, genius.
