Just a thought, after watching the Yogscast Mod spotlight episode with the Aether, Lewis compared it to an expansion, instead of a mod. So maybe mods as big as the Aether should come to be known as Expansions, with full support mods and everything! This would also open up the Minecraft Universe, with huge jungle biomes and ruins, massive polar regions, maybe even a space realm for those kinds of people. The whole idea was just a passing fancy really :tongue.gif: , so leave a comment to express your self! :biggrin.gif:

Yes and No; yes because this would greatly save Mojang a great deal of coding and no because some big mods out there don't fit Minecraft's theme (eg. Industrialcraft) as well as not being developed by Mojang and thus not their intellectual property.
