Slimes would have the ability to attach themselves to the heads of either you or other mobs, causing them to become slime controlled monsters! Basically they would jump on your head (killing you/it in the process)take over your body and turn hostile. the slime victim will only drop its items when you defeat it + some slime balls of course. It will also continue to wear any armor that you had on. As well as continuing to carry whatever the victim was carrying. so if you where slimeified while carrying a sword, the slime would be much more dangerous. if you had food in your hand, it could heal itself. ect. It could control any mob except Nether mobs, Zombies, and Skeletons. (Because skeletons & Zombies have no brain to control.) Notch would probably need to increase the slime spawning for this to take much effect though. :dry.gif:

Hmm.
I do like this idea, but it seems a little OP...
This should not happen to zombies because they do not have brains either. (That's why they want brains.)
@ that other guy: Zombies don't want brains. Who the hell told you that? Who told you they have none? Where did Notch say a word about it? They want to kill you, pure and simple.
Hypothetical: You read a thread in the Suggestions forum. You suddenly realize you've seen the idea before. Maybe it's a duplicate? No. Maybe it's just you? No. Maybe it's been done already? Very likely: Click here if there's a mod for that.

My theory has been that zombies are controlled by incubating creeper spores. (Witch later turn into slime in the hosts vein aand mutate it, Making it HIGHLY sensative to sunlight...)
Eventually the slime dissolves most of the host and leaves it to take shelter underground. (Leaving the host behind as a skeleton animated by slime left behind on the bones, Witch then are still agressive towards uninfected, Weakening their forces to make it easier for the creepers to breed...)
Later on adult creepers emerge from the slime to ascend to the surface to find more hosts for their spores...
Such a horrible fungus...

I agree, such a useful item should be hard to get... but they already kinda are, seeing how rare slimes are.
Also, that sounds wrong. If you know what I mean.
