Wouldn't it be cool to make a ramp in minecraft? Well here's what I think its features should be.
A ramp would take up the same amount of space stairs do and are placed the same way. Everything slides down it. Everything. Mobs, Blocks, Items, YOU. Yes you can accidently fall down your own ramp. When anything falls down the ramp, it can never get back up using the ramp. But these ramps could create new, better traps for mobs without using all the water and canal stuff that can be too complicated for some audiences. Also all blocks not just gravity affected blocks but if you place a block on a ramp block it will be inclined at the same plane that the ramp is in. This means that if you place it it will be tilted as the ramp is tilted. This block you place will slide down the ramp until it hits a block that doesn't have a ramp on it. Also, if a piston pushes a block down the ramp that will also fall. Items fall down the ramp creating new types of garbage cans and other things. Also, these ramps could create a new breed of traps on PvP. Imagine your just walking then all of a sudden the ground opens up beneath you, and you start falling down a ramp that leads to the enemies base. There, the enemies wait and kill you before you even know whats happening. Please comment and give your opinion on the ramp block.

I have decided as of late to be the reputation giver and the befriender. If you see that I gave you reputation and added you as a friend, you will know why. Everyone's my friend
1) Not 90 degrees!
2) No to non-gravity blocks falling down it.
3) Not 90 degrees!
4) Suggested before.
5) Not 90 degrees!
6) No support.
*sigh* I knew some troll would say that.

Why would something not affected by gravity fall down it?
Well don't you think only gravity affected blocks would not be enough?

This is the OPPOSITE of stair blocks.
Also, as many have said before, the use of slopes would kill the retro-cubist feel we have come to know and love.
