What if, when you set it on peaceful, monsters still spawn but they don't try to attack you. This way you could still get their items legit on peaceful by killing them. And if you attack one it will attack you. Like a wild wolf. (Thanks to
scarymonkey11622 for that idea.)
If this has been suggested before, oh well i'm suggesting it again.
i guess the point would be still being able to get all the items these creatures drop, but instead of not attacking, why not just make them neutural, you want to make the game easier not boring :tongue.gif:

well for starters it will allow you to farm some items without the need to spawn items. I think they should do it like that, but if you attack say skeleton, it aggros all skeletons X distance from player/skeleton.
I think this is a pretty good idea. As a builder, I prefer to work without aggressive mobs spawning on my face, but that sometimes makes it hard to get materials. And you can always just switch it to a different mode if you want some action.
The main point of discouraging people from playing peaceful is that they CAN'T get those items from the hostile mobs.
If you want those items, buck up and fight! With iron armor and at least a stone sword you can do pretty well against most of the hostile mobs (a bow is better against creepers and Ghasts, but even then it isn't impossible to kill them without it, and you need to kill some spiders before you can make one).

sorry to infrom you that people that are afraid to die, dont get mob items... as easy has that ;D
You guys are quick to judge, i honestly like this idea, alot.
I'm a builder, i go down into the mines in peaceful to get my materials, come up and build the biggest **** i can.
I don't like the "thrill" of destroying monsters, it only makes me nervous and aggressive. I like to build without the threat.
But, building can be more fun with the materials you get from mobs, but if you're not on peaceful, the mobs get in your way of gathering the proper materials for building, hey it's a win-win situation, if you don't like the idea, simply play on hardcore.
If you do, play on softcore and enjoy.
Whats so bad about that?

Actually in peaceful monster spawn but they are instantly destroyed 1 second after spawning...
anyways , i think that peaceful players should be limited to wolves ( because you need bones to tame them ) , bows ( they need string ) , tnt and all that stuff where you need to kill monster
If not then peaceful would become the most popular game difficulty.
hell, one of the biggest reasons why i build on peaceful is because im tired of walking out of my house and a creeper is like "that's a nice house you have there, SSSSSSSSSSSSS" goodbye hard work

No point really, just something I think would be cool.

Actually that sounds even better.
