Wouldn't it be nice to be able to change the colour of the sky, by simply defining its RGB values in a text file in a texture pack? That way, texture packs with drastically different style than the default one, e.g. post-apocalyptic-themed, cartoon-themed texture packs can have darker or brighter skies to fit the general atmosphere. Even the more "conventional" ones can benefit from fine-tuned sky colours. If possible, we might even be able to control the colour of dusk/dawn, night and cloudy skies.
