The idea struck me while adjusting my house for nighttime, preparing for zombies. If there was a way to have levers/buttons that would activate/deactivate according to light, it would allow for many possibilities. Walls could be set up to go around buildings or work zones at night, the lighting in ones house could change according to lighting outside. Although this idea would be very glitchy at first (for instance, a lighting level would have to be predetermined for the action to occur), I think many would find the finished product useful.
Thoughts?
More useful and less glitchy would crafting a switch with a watch and then being able to just set the on and off times.
Then you do not have to worry about light level or weather or torches interfering with the censor you are just tying into the already existing clock.

I think thats a good idea. But would you have to hold the clock? And what if the clock got burned up in lava or something?
