Slimeball hasn't gotten much attention lately. Here I present to you: Goo!
You can use slimeball to create GOO, an active item and an important recipe for other items. If this were to be in minecraft, the spawn rate of slimes should be increased by a tad.
GOO
Recipe From: 1 slimeball creates 4 GOOs
Usage: You can place it on a side of any block and will act just like the side of a sticky piston. It is stronger than gravity but weaker than piston. If piston pushed an object A connected with object B, then object B will move as object A moves. If there is a block in the way, however, the piston will still activate and the GOO will be dropped as a collectible item.
Technicalities: Sticky piston will not be craftable any more, but rather be a piston with GOO placed on the moving side. It cannot be placed on a ladder, fence, door, redstone repeater, redstone, redstone torch, torch, jack o’ lantern, and pumpkin. In the future, players will be attached to the GOO until GOO is destroyed. GOO is destroyable with one click or is destroyed when the attaching block is broken, or when lava or water runs over it.
Recipe To: Sticky Torch
Sticky Torch
Sticky Torch is essentially an inverted torch that you can place on the ceiling, but because of gravity, you need GOO to hold it up.
Glutinous Blocks (Glutinous diamond, glutinous iron, etc.)
If a block(iron, gold, diamond, etc) has at least 5 sides covered with GOOs for a lengthy period, it will become “glutinous.” Glutinous material will have 130% endurance than the original material. Thus, diamond tools will be able to break 2031 blocks instead of 1562. Glutinous (blank) tools will have green aura emanating from the ores.
Texture will have a bit of green coming out from the chasm between the blocks.
GOO powder
1 GOO can get you 4 GOO powders.
Sticky Redstone
If redstone is mixed with GOO powder, then you get sticky redstone that can be placed anywhere including the ceiling and the sides.
Sticky Glowstone
If Glowstone is mixed with GOO powder, then you will have a new source of light: Sticky Glowstone for fanciness.
Add a Slime Spawner in the world.
Possibly Black Hole that can destroy blocks crafted from GOO, redstone, and obsidian.
There has been a lot of ideas about "glue" and attaching blocks together, but I thought of this on my own. Thats why I didn't stop there and thought of more things.
