Okay, just a thought I had for minecraft, we all get pissed off at creepers blowing us up when we get stuck somewhere or they sneak up behind us and blow up a wall in our base when we were doing a few last minute touches as the sun was setting. So my idea is the title, create some bait for enemies, sort of like what the scarecrow was going to be like but different. So that you can't just make it easily it would require some gunpowder, some bones, porkchops to add some flavour and possibly red dye to catch their attention, when you place it out enemies will be attracted to it unless your too close. Other items could be added in as well if people think of them and how they would help to it.
One of the two options for placing it out is actually placing it like a block, or to simply throw the item, either way they would be given a certain life span before disappearing and could be eaten/destroyed by any enemy. The point of the life span is so you'd have to keep replacing it if you were using it for some kind of trap.
I know that there would be problems with this, and most people probably will think it is a stupid idea but heck, some people might like it. Post any problems you see with this and how it can be improved, otherwise don't just complain.
Also sorry if anyone else had thought of this idea already.
Or you go to options and set difficulty to peaceful :wink.gif:
Yes, you could do that, but then why do people build traps for enemies? its pointless, what is the point of having creepers in the game in the first place. That is why I make people work for it, just like everything else. Have you ever played that game Scribblenauts? I have, you can create almost anything you want to solve your problems, but minecraft is like lego blocks were you have to work for it and when you finish your castle you step back and say, 'Look at what I did, I worked hard to make that thing... now lets build something new" which you work for it. That is one of the reasons I love minecraft so much, you work for what you want and it makes it that little bit better.
