I have an idea about a minecraft updater. when the final version of minecraft coes out, notch wont update minecraft. but with this, YOU can. if you think an update is a good idea, but notch has already releaced the final version of minecraft. well, you can put it in minecraft. this will make each version of minecraft different. in simple terms, each game will be unique. the ideas for the minecraft updater will still be posted on the suggestions forum. and note that it will be easier to use than installing mods. i wouldent have suggested this, except that mods crash my minecraft. yes i have used the latest modloader and audiomod. they keep crashing my game. so i hope you think this is a good idea.

thats what mods are for. silly did you delete the meta-inf files?
Just because the game is released doesn't mean that there won't be any official updates following it. There are always bugs, glitches, and exploits in games after they are released, and, if needed, a patch will be released.
