The Hammer is a tool that can be used to turn a crafted object back into the items used to make it.
They would be crafted with two of a "tier material" plus a pattern of wooden sticks.
The "tiers" would be as follows: Wood, Stone, (Redstone), Iron, Gold, Diamond.
Higher tiers would be able to decraft faster and more times, plus they can only decraft items which the highest tier used is equal to or less than the hammer's tier. (Items in parentheses are not used in crafting, but you need the tier higher than that to decraft items using that item.
The time taken to decraft an object would be about the time it takes to mine that ore with that tier. So, with wood, a wooden log, with diamond, a diamond ore, etc.
Decrafting a block is easy, just hack at it with your hammer, and for items, throw it and then hit it.
No one probably cares, but here is an idea for crafting:
where [T] is the tier material
and [S] is a stick
There should be a hammer table, crafted like this:
You put a hammer in one slot, the item to be de-crafted in the other, and press a button. WHAMMO! The item comes out, decrafted, in another slot, and the hammer loses some durability.

Did I write something good? Click the + over here!----->
I have always wondered why we can't decraft tools and objects with full durability by just throwing them back on the crafting table by themselves. (Things like Crafting planks back into logs obviously shouldn't work lol.

And I do care : D.
Possibly, but 5 Diamonds for a decrafting tool? WAY too expensive.
